With the ratification of the IMO convention on Ballast Water Treatment, as part of the industrial choices aimed at the development of ‘Green Technology’ for Shipping, since 2014 we have been working to develop capabilities in the design, planning and installation of BWMS systems
Various BWMS systems have been studied and analysed such that we can act as independent consultants, designers and installers for those shipowning companies that require a complete turnkey service for ballast water management. Our agreements with composite pipe suppliers (GRP, GRE. GRVE) allow us to support any difficulty and type of installation with the most advanced technologies. The expertise we have developed in ‘Green Technology’ has supported several BWMS retrofit projects. They have allowed us to carry out inspections, designs and estimates with a far-sighted view of the problem of ballast water management and of sites engaged in modification and retrofit activities considered ‘Major Modification’. We offer our clients an on-board survey with 3D laser scanning ‘Free of charge’ for ships calling at Italian ports or for ships calling at foreign ports, against the provision by the shipowner only of airline tickets and accommodation on board.
